Sara Ali Khan on comparison with Janhvi kapoor: I don’t think we need to treat each other as rivals

There has been a tough competition amongst Bollywood’s star kids and the best part about it is, the actors seem to accept it as a healthy competition. Their paths got branched as they debuted and now Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor have competitive careers to look forward to.

While Sara debuted with Sushant in Kedarnath, Janhvi went on and made her debut with Ishaan Khattar. Right from their on-screen persona and amazing screen presence to refreshingly beautiful looks and carefree attitude, the girls have made an impression on the fans and they can't stop comparing the two. 

Well, they can't be blamed for comparing them, given the career choices Janhvi and Sara have made so far!

Recently, Sara interacted with Femina and she made many revelations that stunned the audience. Sara was asked if she was bothered by she being constantly compared to Janhvi; she said, “Comparison and competition is part and parcel of our profession. I don’t get bothered; there’s space for everybody here, and both of us are confident and secure in our respective places. We don’t hold anything against each other or the media; we know that it’s part of their job to do what they do. We are here to be actors; nothing works more than individualism.” 

Furthermore, Sara was also quizzed if she considers Janhvi or Ananya as her competitors. She mentioned it was her, Janhvi or Ananya, they had more in common with each other than they had with other people. She also said that the three of them were young debutantes trying to make it big in a world that they had only dreamt of.

She added, “I am happy, confident, and content with the place I have, and I am sure they are too. I don’t think we need to treat each other as rivals, but as friends that we already are. Competition in any field keeps you on your toes; it’s a healthy vibe where we can all coexist.”
