Remember Anshul Singh from Zee TV's popular show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke?

The actor, who essayed the role of Murli on the show, is all set to rock the silver screen with his upcoming flick.

We hear that Anshul has bagged a pivotal role in the upcoming movie Muzaffarnagar 2013.

our sources inform, "Anshul will be seen essaying a Muslim guy's role in the movie, who will be known as Salim. His character would be positive and he will be introduced as a friend of Dev, the male protagonist of the movie."

When we contacted Anshul, he confirmed the news saying, "I have been traveling a lot to different places around the world and then I took up this project. It's been a nice experience shooting for this movie. We have shot for the movie in Muzaffarnagar and had a great time shooting at some of the real locations."
