The rising coronavirus cases have flagged concerns in the film industry as new cases continue to surface. Many Bollywood celebrities received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine recently. This time it was Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who went on to receive the vaccination.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the 61-year-old shared a picture of himself getting the shot at the city's BKC vaccine centre.
"Received my first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine today at the BKC vaccine center. I want to congratulate Dr Dhere and his entire team for doing such a wonderful job! I have so much love and respect for them and their hard work. Jai Hind!" Dutt tweeted.
In 2020, Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. The Sadak 2 actor instantly commenced his treatment for the same, and Dutt successfully defeated cancer. The actor’s family and fans were on cloud nine after Sanjay announced the good news.
Several celebrities including Sharmila Tagore, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Mohanlal, Paresh Rawal, Jeetendra, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Neena Gupta, Rakesh Roshan, and Johnny Lever were also admitted with the first dose of coronavirus vaccine.
