Sanjay Dutt comes onboard with PAN-India film 'Thalapathy 67'
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has come onboard with Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Thalapathy 67'.
Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj reunited for the second time for 'Thalapathy 67,' which was officially released yesterday (Jan 30), and the 'Thalapathy 67' hashtags have been dominating social media trends since then. The makers have released a red-themed poster featuring a blazing still of Sanjay Dutt to confirm his participation.
Interestingly, the poster also has a quote from the actor which reads, "When I heard the one line of 'Thalapathy 67' I knew in that exact moment I had to be part of the film and I'm thrilled to start this journey".
The directors of 'Thalapathy 67' are delighted to have Sanjay Dutt play a crucial role in the film, and how the Bollywood actor has been so comfortable and warm since their first meeting. Sanjay Dutt is making his Tamil debut with 'Thalapathy 67,' and the directors have reportedly agreed to pay the actor Rs 10 crores.
Trisha, Priya Anand, Gautham Menon, Arjun Sarja, and Mansoor Ali Khan, among others, are rumoured to appear in the film, and more formal details will be revealed by the makers soon. Meanwhile, fans are hoping for a surprise from the 'Thalapathy 67' team..
'Thalapathy 67' is reported to be a Pan-Indian action drama and the film crew's official list was unveiled along with the film's announcement yesterday (Jan 30). Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music, while the cinematography is to be handled by Manoj Paramhamasa.
