After the phenomenal success of Kabir Singh and Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has solidified his position as one of Indian Cinema's most in-demand directors. Following his recent pilgrimage to Tirumala, Vanga has plunged into the pre-production of his highly anticipated cop-based action thriller, Spirit. The filmmaker is aiming to kick off filming for Spirit by December 2024.
Contrary to speculations, Vanga's next project after Spirit isn't the film with Allu Arjun. According to insiders, Vanga is already gearing up for Animal Park, a sequel to Animal, right after wrapping up Spirit. The director has been diligently crafting the script, ensuring a seamless continuation of the storyline.
Many pivotal characters from Animal, including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri, will return for Animal Park, alongside new additions to the cast.
The shooting schedule for Spirit is slated to span four months starting December 2024, with plans for a theatrical release between November 2025 and January 2026. Vanga will then shift his focus entirely to Animal Park, with Ranbir Kapoor set to embark on his double role journey post his commitments to Ramayana and Love and War. Both Spirit and Animal Park will be produced by Bhushan Kumar in collaboration with Sandeep and Pranay Reddy Vanga.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun's collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga will only materialize post the release of Animal Park.
