Sanchita Ugale talks about playing Sukoon in Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi.

Actress Sanchita Ugale, who plays the lead role of Sukoon in the popular drama, Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, talks about the challenges she enjoys while playing the her role which is now appreciated a lot by the audience.

She said, "If we compare Sanchita with Sukoon..then to be honest Sanchita takes stress a lot, of things in her life. I keep myself happy but not as like Sukoon does. So there are a lot of things which makes Sanchita different from Sukoon, making Sukoon convincing to the audience."

Ask her about preparing for the role and transforming from Sanchita to Sukoon.

She replied, "Reading the script helps me a lot. I beleive the content is the king. So I try to read the script given to me several times till I completely understand it. Later I try to understand the situation and the context of the scene we shall be performing. I also try to my level best to live the character my directors want me to see as."

She continued, "I work on the psyche of my character like how will Sukoon react on a certain situation, her likes and dislikes, her way of looking to the life, her expectations and acceptances, her life history, her relation with every other character she is having in her life and also few more things like her life experiences which made her like this the way Sukoon behaves or the way she completely is."

She added, "There is a dominating emotion among all other emotions which every character have individually like someone looks very happy all the time..while someone looks and portray mysterious most of the time..so the same way I tried to hold that one single dominating emotion of Sukoon in which she lives the most of her life like she enjoys staying happy all the time, takes no stress, she's innocent yet bubbly. She is straight on face nothing double faced. She doesn't carry any grudges about anything or anyone."

Sanchita is known for her previous roles in Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya, among others. She also acted in Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava, in which she played important role of Tarabai. Before that she featured in Manoj Bajpayee's Silence 2 and Crime Aaj Kal starring Vikrant Massey.
