Sanaya Irani's 'Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke' remake was SCRAPPED; now the ADAPTATION is happening

The buzztown has been all about the many remakes and adaptations that have been under works for all this while now. From Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham to Kasautii Zindagii Kay, a remake or a sequel has been in plans for all this while.

Ekta Kapoor recently clarified how the Sony TV show, Dil Hi Toh Hai is not a remake of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, the stance about Kasautii Zindagi Kay sequel is still unclear.

Nevertheless, another remake is now being planned and this is its that of popular and blockbuster film, Hum Hai Raahi Pyaar Ke. Yes! That's right.

The film was one of the best films in that year, and it went to become a cult since then.

Currently the remake is being commissioned for Star Bharat, and the project is supposed to be helmed by Sonali and Amir Jaffar.

Actress, Sana Sayyad has been roped in to play the female lead, while Ishant Bhanushali of Hanumaan fame will play one of the kids. Another child actress who has been roped in to play the role of Baby Ashrafa is none other than actress, Arshifa Khan.

Currently, the male lead is yet to be finalised.

One would easily remember how actress Sanaya Irani was roped in to play the female lead of another Hum Hai Raahi Pyaar Ke remake called Meenu Mausi over 2 years ago. In fact, they even shot for a pilot episode, but it wasn't picked up by Star Plus.

It seems to be happening now with a different cast and different channel altogether.
