Samay Raina Gets THIRD Summon From Maharashtra Cyber Cell Amid India's Got Latent Row

YouTuber Samay Raina has been summoned again by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell in connection with the India's Got Talent controversy. The comedian has been asked to appear before the cyber cell on March 24. This is the third summons issued to Raina after he failed to appear on March 19.

Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina are currently under fire for comments made during India's Got Talent. Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, reportedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question about body parts and suggested an indecent act in return for Rs 2 crore. The backlash intensified when he posed a particularly controversial question, sparking outrage among viewers.

Post the controversy, a police complaint was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and several co-judges, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija. The FIR alleges they promoted obscene and sexually explicit content on the show, citing multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

In response to the backlash, Ranveer Allahbadia issued an apology via a video statement. Samay Raina also removed all India's Got Talent episodes from his YouTube channel.

"Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you," he said.
