Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently shared the screen with Varun Dhawan in the Indian spin-off of Citadel: Honey Bunny, expressed her relief at not having to match his dance moves after seeing his latest track, “Nain Matakka,” from the upcoming film Baby John.
The song, featuring Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh, was released on November 25, 2024, and quickly garnered attention for its energetic choreography and vibrant visuals. Sharing her reaction on Instagram Stories, Samantha praised Varun’s dancing skills while humorously remarking, “Thank god I didn’t have to dance with you @varundvn (heart hands emojis).”
Samantha also took a moment to compliment Keerthy Suresh, saying, “@keerthysureshofficial, my hottie pattotie.” She added, “Already obsessed with this song. @diljitdosanjh (sparkles emojis) @atlee47 @priyaatlee @musicthaman.”

Varun Dhawan responded to Samantha’s post with a playful “Sammmy sammy,” accompanied by red hearts and a honey pot emoji.

“Nain Matakka” brings together global music sensations Diljit Dosanjh and Dhee, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil and music composed by S. Thaman. The song is already being lauded for its catchy beats and vibrant appeal.
Baby John, directed by Kalees, marks Varun Dhawan’s first collaboration with Keerthy Suresh. The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav, with a special cameo by Salman Khan. Produced by Jio Studios, Atlee, A for Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios, the film is backed by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande.
Meanwhile, Samantha and Varun’s pairing in Citadel: Honey Bunny continues to resonate with audiences. The spy thriller, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on November 7, 2024, follows the two as secret agents protecting their young daughter, Nadia. Directed by Raj & DK and developed by Sita R. Menon, the series is part of the Citadel universe, which includes American and Italian versions.
