Samantha Ruth Prabhu had once revealed her deadly thoughts post her sensational divorce with Naga Chaitanya

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the most successful and admired actresses in the Indian film industry, opened up about the emotional turmoil she experienced following her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. In a candid interview with a leading magazine from a few years ago, Samantha revealed how she felt overwhelmed by the end of her marriage and struggled with feelings of despair.

The actress shared how she initially felt like dying after her divorce and how she now feels proud of herself for overcoming it. She mentioned that half the problem is solved when one vocalizes their feelings, understands them, and accepts them.

She said, “I know I’m still going to live my life, and with all the issues that I now faced in my personal life, I was surprised at how strong I was. I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn’t think I was capable of being this strong… Today I’m very, very proud of how strong I am because I really didn’t know I was.”

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's relationship, which had been a subject of public fascination, ended in divorce in 2021 after four years of marriage. The couple had married in 2017, but their separation marked the end of a highly publicized chapter in their lives.

Now in 2024, Naga Chaitanya is preparing to marry actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4. The couple, who had been rumored to be dating, confirmed their relationship with an engagement earlier this year. The wedding will take place at Annapurna Studios, a venue built by Chaitanya’s late grandfather, superstar Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

Meanwhile, Samantha, who was last seen in the popular web series Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Varun Dhawan, is focused on her career. She is currently working on the show Rakt Bramand alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, continuing to establish herself as a versatile and resilient artist in the industry.
