Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Aditya Roy Kapur have kickstarted the much-anticipated action-fantasy series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom in Mumbai.

Samantha recently wrapped up shooting for the Indian spy-action TV series Citadel: Honey Bunny with Varun Dhawan. Aditya Roy Kapur is equally engrossed in the preparation for his upcoming film Metro In Dino. Despite their jam-packed schedules, the two actors have begun shooting for Rakt Brahmand, produced by Raj & DK.

Samantha recently took to social media to share her excitement about being back on set, posting an image featuring a passport-like book with her name on it, alongside a pencil, a luxury backpack, a coffee cup, and sleep-inducing oil. She captioned it, “Never stop dreaming. Glad to be back on a film set after a while. #Raktbrahmand @d2r_films.”

Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, the mastermind behind Tumbbad, and produced by Raj & DK of The Family Man fame under their D2R Films banner, the series has officially commenced production. The ensemble cast also includes Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi.
