Salman Khan has been undergoing a physical transformation for his next big project, Dabangg 3. For the third installation of the hit cop franchise, he is likely to portray both a young and an older Chulbul Pandey in the film.
Besides his super entertaining and blockbuster films, Khan is a gym freak and never misses a chance to sweat it out whenever he can. His determination and physical transformation is every bit inspiring.
Salman attended a fitness event, held in Mumbai on Sunday, and spoke about fitness at length. He feels protein shakes and a few supplements are competent to achieve a toned body, and also condemns the use of steroids.
Khan said that the people who use steroids misuse it, which has ill effects on their bodies and health. "No one should use steroids. People don't actually use it, instead, they misuse steroids, which is very bad for their body and for them," the Dabangg star told ANI.
He adds, "I have seen many who pass out while working out in the gym. It can be because of anything, heart failures or something more critical. Therefore, it's not a good thing to use at all.”
The 53-year-old actor goes on to explain how bodies built with the help of steroids do not look natural and such abs and people who do it don’t last long.
"Protein shakes and a few supplements are fine, but steroids with higher magnitude is a big no-no. Body made with such things doesn't look real. People can make out it's not natural and is built with the help of steroids. Such packs or biceps don't last long and same goes for the people who use these," Salman asserts.
Besides, talking of his work out regime, the actor says he exercises whenever he gets time, be it during shoots, before breakfast, after dinner or in between of any task.
Bhaijaan often shares the pictures on his Instagram sweating it out in the gym and flaunting his chiseled body. On the work front, he is gearing up for Dabangg 3 opposite Sonakshi Sinha and veteran actor Mahesh Mamnjarekar's daughter, Saiee Manjarekar. The movie is slated to release on December 20.
