Salman Khan compares Li'l Champ Riya Biswas with the legendary Lata Mangeshkar!

The brother duo Salman and Sohail Khan will be gracing 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs' as celebrity guests on June 3. 

 

Just like every year, the show has wowed one and all with its mind blowing talent this year too. 

While the top 8 talented performers are set to dazzle the audiences with their explosive performances, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan will visit the sets to promote their highly anticipated flick 'Tubelight'. 

The brother duo was seen in great spirits mingling with the mentors - Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar and Javed Ali, and the contestants!

 

While the shoot of the episode saw scintillating performances one after the other, it was Li'l Champ, Riya Biswas from Kolkata who left the 'Dabangg' superstar speechless with her vocal abilities. The tiny singing prodigy brought the house down as she sang the famous number 'Dil Deewana' from Salman Khan's debut movie 'Maine Pyaar Kiya'. Not only was the superstar floored by Riya's marvellous performance but also felt pangs of nostalgia and gave her the most cherished compliment of her life. 

Yes, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan, who was left awe-struck, compared the Li'l Champ Riya with the living legend Lata Mangeshkar!

He said, "Riya, your style of singing reminds me of Lata di. Had she been here, she would have been so proud to hear you sing this song so effortlessly".  

Well, the Li'l Champ is forgiven for floating away on to cloud nine and celebrating!

 

Taking a stroll down memory lane, Salman added, "Wherever I've reached today is only because of this song and this movie". 

Brother Sohail Khan who was equally impressed with Riya's singing commented, "This song has brought back such fond memories as it is from Salman's debut film. I still remember going to Rajshree studio to see the movie. It's only because of this movie that our entire family was launched in the industry and made us what we are today".
