Salman Khan called me up at 2am: Mahesh Manjrekar talks about hosting marathi Bigg Boss

'Bigg Boss' is known as the beloved and controversial show on the small screen. This show is always popular in every language that it has been released. Apart from the Hindi Bigg Boss, ever since Marathi Bigg Boss started, this show has always been a super hit. The fights, new tasks, friendships and controversies between the Bigg Boss contestants make the show ever popular.

Talking about friendships one such unique bond is between Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Mahesh Manjrekar. 

Both the celebrated stars are also the host of Hindi and Marathi Bigg Boss respectively. Well recently at the launch of Marathi Bigg Boss season 4 Mahesh Mnajrekar shared an unheard story of how Salman was the reason behind the latter's decision to host the show.

Manjrekar said, 

"This is something that not many people are not aware of mein yeh jo host kar raha hu iska major contribution Salman ka hai because when the meeting of Hindi Bigg Boss was in progress tabhi waha topic nikla tha Marathi Bigg boss ka. At that particular moment Salman stood up and said Mahesh should be the host, it was his suggestion that I should host the show! I remember, I was sleeping when Salman called me at 2 am and said tu Bigg Boss host kar raha hai and I was confused I asked him what Bigg Boss? To which he said, "Marathi Bigg boss ur doing I have had the word today." So it is he who pushes the envelope."

He further also talked about Salman having his own unique style of presentation and praised the way he handles the show.

Well talking about Bigg Boss the Hindi season 16th is all set to air from October 1st while the fourth season of Marathi Bigg Boss will greet the audience from 2nd October.
