Salman Convicted; This is how sisters Alvira and Arpita REACTED

The verdict in 1998's Blackbuck poaching case has been out today. While his Hum Saath-Saath Hai co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, and Neelam Kothari have been acquitted, actor Salman Khan has been announced convicted in this case.

Further, Khan was sentenced to five-year jail term by the Jodhpur court today with a penalty of Rs 10, 000. The actor will be spending the night in Jail today until the hearing of his bail appeal takes place tomorrow morning. Reports suggest that security has been tightened outside Jodhpur Central Jail.

Meanwhile, sisters Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan Sharma are but obviously shocked by the court's verdict. Salman was accompanied by his sisters throughout the verdict. A report by News18 revealed how Alvira and Arpita reacted after hearing the judgement.

The report read, "Salman's sisters looked stressed especially after all the others apart from Salman were acquitted (the acquittal was announced before Salman was convicted). When the judge finally announced the verdict, convicting Salman in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, his sisters were unmoved. But we hear that Alvira broke down in the court after a while".

"While earlier there were reports that Salman looked tense and sad while in his hotel ahead of the hearing, sources say that he was calm and composed throughout the hearing at the court in Jodhpur, Rajasthan", the report further revealed.

As per recent developments, Salman Khan's lawyers have moved to Rajasthan High Court to appeal for Bail while his lawyers are ready with the bail proceedings.
