Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, featuring Prabhas in the lead, has been making waves at the box office since its release on December 22. Despite its strong start with an impressive Rs 90.7 crore in India, the action-thriller has experienced a gradual decline in revenue. On its fifth day, which marked the first working weekday, the film earned Rs 23.50 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

While Salaar's total nett collection currently stands at Rs 278.90 crore, globally, the film is inching towards the Rs 500 crore milestone. If it achieves this feat, Salaar will join the ranks of Indian blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan, Jailer, Animal, and Leo, making it the sixth film of the year to cross the Rs 500 crore mark globally.

The film's popularity is particularly evident in the Telugu-speaking states, where it recorded an occupancy of 40.94% on Tuesday. In comparison, the Malayalam occupancy was 25.56%, and the Tamil occupancy was 16.97%. In the Hindi belt, Salaar is giving a tough competition to Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki, which has accumulated Rs 140.20 crore in six days.

Despite facing stiff competition, Salaar continues to draw audiences, and its global box office performance indicates its potential to reach new milestones in the days to come.
