Excitement and speculation are running high in Tollywood as rumours swirl about a possible delay in the release of Prabhas' much-anticipated film, Salaar. Originally slated for a September release, it seems that this action-packed thriller might be hitting the pause button on its release schedule. Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar had fans eagerly awaiting its trailer in August, only to be left hanging.
Now, it appears that Salaar's release date might be postponed by a substantial 27 days. According to reports, the production team has pointed to ongoing graphic work as the culprit, with hopes of wrapping it up by September 28th.
For the unversed, a staggering budget of ₹200 crore and Prabhas stepping into the shoes of a gangster it has undoubtedly captured the attention of cinephiles far and wide. Adding to the intrigue, Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran takes on the role of the antagonist, while Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, and Teenaa Anand play pivotal characters.
Furthermore, whispers about a sequel are in the air, with Jagapathi Babu's character poised for a prominent role in the second installment.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is juggling another ambitious project titled "Kalki 2898 AD." This science-fiction extravaganza, helmed by Nag Ashwin, explores the superhero genre and boasts an ensemble cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan.
