SAB, the family comedy entertainment channel, continues its exciting growth story. As per the latest TAM data for 24th week 2009, it has achieved its highest 66 GRPs which is 16 points higher than the previous week. With this SAB also now moves way ahead of Star One which is at 52 GRPs now.

After the successful launch of Maniben.com, SAB has achieved a 16 GRP leap in comparison to its last week ratings, which is a clear indication of its growing popularity. Maniben.com, which launched on 8th June opened with 0.9 TVR. The family comedy strategy has proved to be a winner for SAB and the ratings are clearly reflecting the popularity of its various shows – Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah, FIR, Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Gunwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and the latest addition, Maniben.com.

Commenting on this significant achievement, Anooj Kapoor, Business Head, SAB TV stated, "We, at SAB, are happy to reach this level and we will continue our efforts to ensure a refreshing dose of comedy each time to the viewers. Tarak Mehta, Bhootwala serial, Jugni chali Jalandhar, My kab saas, Fir, Yes boss are quite entertaining. Bhootwala is really like cartoon network for adults. Keep it up sab. Your bigger sister Sony is in a sorry state.

I love this Channel. All the shows are really really nice. I love Moniben.com, jugni, tarak mehta, FIR... pretty much all shows are best.

Maniben.com and Taarak Mehta are good shows. I really enjoy them. F.I.R was one of my favourites at one point, but after Hanuman Prasad Pandey (Shiv Pandit) left, the show has lost its charm. Missing his scenes with Kavita Kaushik and Ali Asgar is highly irritating in the show.
