Rutuja Sawant in talks for ‘Lock Up 2’?

‘Lock Up 2’ has been in the news for quite some time now. As per some strong buzz, the show is slated to air on Zee TV. ‘Lock Up’ season one was quite successful. It was earlier featured on digital platforms ALTBalaji and MX Players. Munawar Faruqui and Payal Rohatgi were the top 2 contenders while Munawar lifted the coveted trophy.

Now, sources have it that the show might return and is speculated to air on the channel, possibly on Zee TV. There were rumours that Rubina Dilaik would replace Karan Kundrra as the Jailor of the show. Names like Umar Riaz, Saundarya Sharma and Paras Chhabra are approached for the show. However, there’s no official confirmation about the same.

Now, India Forums has exclusively learned that actress Rutuja Sawant has been approached for the show. Rutuja has been a part of shows like ‘Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali’ and ‘Pishachini’. She is currently a part of Star Plus show ‘Chashni’. The actress often makes heads turn with her bold avatar on social media. Rutuja is also into fitness and can be a good contestant for a task-based show like ‘Lock Up 2’. 

Rutuja also had some clear opinions on ‘Bigg Boss 16’. She took sides and stood for her favourites throughout which speaks a lot about her ability to deal with the competition which is a prerequisite for such reality shows.
