Rupali Ganguly opens up on 'Anupamaa' completing two years

The popular daily show 'Anupamaa' recently completed two years. The TV fiction was launched on July 13, 2020 and stars Rupali Ganguly in the leading role of Anupama, with Gaurav Khanna starring as Anuj, her second husband and Sudhanshu Pandey who plays the role of her former husband Vanraj.

India Forums got in touch with Rupali who was elated on the show completing 2 years. She revealed, "Anupamaa is the most memorable journey in itself. I remember every scene, every shot that I have shot on the set. It’s all a very crystal clear memory for me, before and after what was happening, everything that I have shot in Anupamaa so far."

"It is very very very special to me. What Anupamaa is to me, is something I can’t put into words. Forget 1 or 2 years, I hope the show goes on for years and years, even if I am not there, I’ll pray that Anupamaa goes on for years," she adds.

Anupamaa is Rupali's comeback vehicle. The actress was last seen on television in Parvarish- Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi and returned with Sarabhai Take 2 on the digital platform on Disney+ Hotstar. In fact, her performance in Anupamaa was so appreciated that the makrers even released a prequel to the show titled Namaste America on Disney+ Hotstar that received rave reviews.
