Rupali Ganguly on if 'Anupamaa' will undergo a makeover in the show

It is rather pleasant to see how a TV show is still capable of bringing in massive numbers almost every week and has a following that one can only dream to have. Of course, not that there haven't been TRP toppers and popular shows but the feats and numbers that Anupamaa has managed to rake in lately have been pleasantly surprising indeed.

Clocking in over 4 points in multiple weeks, the show is also going through a major plot development to witness.

Recently, one of the recent episodes saw protagonist Rupali Ganguly in a decked-up look in the show - which is indeed a fresh factor as Anupamaa hasn't been seen in that manner as of yet. So, does this mean Anupamma will be witnessing a makeover soon an will that be one of the mega points in the upcoming track. In an interview, Ganguly was asked about it and she absolutely rubbished the makeover rumors. She mentioned that Anupamaa was all decked-up for her daughter's birthday and post that she is back to her cotton sarees. She even mentioned that Anupamaa's sartorial look and taste in fashion is what keeps the charm and makes her more relatable.

She also mentioned how her character was first called regressive and is now termed as progressive. So, such things happen with a show and they have come a long way where everyone is hooked on to the show. 

On the recent and sudden passing away of actor Divya Bhatnagar, she mentioned that even though she didn't know her personally, her heart broke to hear about. Ganguly mentioned how she was shocked and disturbed to know it especially Bhatnagar was onyly 34 years old.
