Ruheen Ali to play the new woman in Armaan Poddar's life in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai post leap

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set to take a 6 year leap, post which Armaan and Abhira's lives will undergo a massive change. While the much loved couple will part ways, Armaan, who is now an RJ is raising his daughter Pookie all alone. A promo showing the same has recently been released by the channel. While fans of Abhira and Armaan are extremely disappointed by the recent developments, there is also an air of suspicion surrounding the new woman in Armaan's life.

Well, India Forums has done a little digging to find out who this new woman is and well, our sources close to the show give us some information on the same. Our source reveals that the girl is named Ruheen Ali and that she will probably be making her debut with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on television. While more information on her character and the story line of the show is awaited, Ruheen's first look has for sure left the avid viewers intrigued.

Earlier speaking exclusively to India Forums, Rohit Purohit, the lead of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, gave us insights on what the upcoming story of the show will be post leap. He said, ''It's been six years since the leap in the show. Armaan is now an RJ, a completely different man. He no longer cares about his appearance his clothes are unkempt, and his hair and beard are messy. He doesn't even comb his hair. He's emotionally disconnected from the world, except for his daughter Pookie. She is his entire world, and he is more protective of her than ever. He can't stand to hear anything negative about her. Arman is in a different city now, and his life has changed completely. It feels like a new show altogether."

Rohit added, "Abhira and Armaan live in different cities after the leap. I'm excited to see whether fate brings them back together or keeps them apart forever. It's a mystery that will unfold with time. Keep watching the show to find out."
