Rucha Hasabnis aka Rashi refutes the rumors of being approached for ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’

India Forums is back with an interesting update from the world of television.

Star Bharat is set to bring an interesting show ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’ which will have four main characters from Star Plus popular show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 1’. Well, initially, the show was stated to be the prequel of ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, however, later it was cleared that ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’ is an independent show and the only similarity is that the show has four prominent characters from ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’.

Giaa Manek, Rupal Patel, Mohammed Nazim and Vandana Vithlani have reunited for ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’ which is produced by Ved Raj’s Shoonya Square Productions. 

There were also rumors and speculations regarding actress Rucha Hassabnis aks Rashi Modi being approached for the show. India Forums got in touch with the actress and asked her about not taking up the show. The actress seemed clueless about it and said, “Honestly, I’m clueless. Nothing of this sort happened. I wasn’t approached for the show”.

For the uninitiated, actress Sumati Singh will be seen playing Urmila's (changed to Ramila for this show) daughter Aashi in the show.

Further, Rucha wished Giaa, Nazim, Rupal and Vandana and said, “Well, I have seen the promo and show looks quite promising. I would like to wish my co-actors from Saath Nibhana Saathiya all the best. I remember messaging Giaa after I saw the promo”.

We asked Rucha if she’s planning to return to showbiz anytime soon. She replied, “For now, I haven’t really signed anything but you never know (smiles)”.

‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’ is set to launch soon. It is slated to replace Rajan Shahi’s ‘Mann Ki Awaaz: Pratigya 2’.
