Romanch Mehta to play Shatanand in Siya Ke Ram!

Star Plus' upcoming mythological show 'Siya Ke Ram' is grabbing a lot of eyeballs with its fascinating promos and the amazing graphics showcasing lovely story from Sita’s perspective.

Being launched on a grandeur scale, many prominent actors have been roped in to play pivotal characters. One new actor to join the cast is Romanch Mehta who has also been a part of Ramayan earlier along with Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary as Ram and Sita respectively.

Our source informs, "Romanch will portray the character of Shatanand. Who is known as the Rajpurohit (Royal priest) of Janak (Bijay Anand). The actor is currently shooting for the show in Hyderabad."

We contacted Romanch to congratulate him for the show. Elatedly the actor confirmed, "I am glad to work with the same production team that was also associated with 'Devon Ke Dev. Mahadev'. It is like coming back to home. When they called me for the show, I immediately agreed because I believe they have some brilliant insight. I am sure this show too, will do wonders like 'Mahadev' did. 'Siya Ke Ram' has gone on another level and it surely has the potential to change the current scenario of television."

Romanch is currently associated with three shows. "Being part of a good show is more important and I feel blessed for having bagged all good shows be it 'Gangaa', 'Mere Angne Mein' or 'Siya Ke Ram'," the actors concludes.
