Rohit Purohit, aka Armaan, injured Not on Set: Here’s What Happened

Rohit Purohit, beloved by audiences for his role as Armaan in Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently had a close brush with a major accident. Rohit shared a picture on social media, showing an injury dangerously close to his left eye. While some reports suggested the injury occurred on set, India Forums contacted his wife, Sheena Bajaj, for clarification.

Sheena revealed, “Yes, Rohit got injured. The car boot was open, and he accidentally got hurt. It was quite severe. I was nearby, and he called me immediately. I rushed over and did some first aid to reduce the bleeding from a deep cut near his eyebrow. He’s much better now and has returned to the set.”

Rohit and Sheena, who married on January 22, 2019, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, had been in a relationship for six years before tying the knot. Rohit, known for his versatile roles, currently plays Armaan Poddar, a lawyer opposite Samridhii Shukla in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He has starred in popular shows like Chandragupta Maurya, Arjun, Razia Sultan, and Udaariyaan.

In the ongoing storyline of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan faces emotional turmoil as Abhira’s baby passes away, unbeknownst to her. Meanwhile, Ruhi’s baby survives an accident, but Ruhi slips into a coma. Rohit, playing Armaan, contemplates stepping in as a father figure, asking Abhira to help care for Ruhi’s child during her recovery.
