Rohit Bakshi happy about 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' re-run, "I was associated with Balaji before I landed the role of 'Shikhar Mehra' on 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii'. Ekta Kapoor must have thought that I fit that role in particular, and I got it. It was all new to me, and we all were newcomers at that point of time. It feels really good to work on a show with such a huge popularity. At that time, people used to recognize me, and mention my character, which made me feel proud. At the end of the day you just want to make your parents proud, and I feel like I did so. It was one of the most loved shows at that time, and I'm sure it's going to receive the same kind of love with its re-run on Star Plus."
