Riya Sen in Alisha's latest episode!

Alisha is one of India's most popular web series. The series has a very interesting storyline which takes a lot of surprising twists and turns along the way. This time the twist revolves around a popular Bollywood Actress!

The latest episode of Culture Machine's web series Alisha' will see Bollywood diva Riya Sen playing a pretty Punjabi bride-to-be in the series. Even though Alisha is her first time in a web series, it's not going to be the last time, says Riya. The actress goes on to say, "It was a delight to work in Alisha, and all the credit goes to Akanksha (the director), the DOP and the set designers for creating such a magical ambience. The young actors were given much space for improvising and having fun. Lianne is the perfect writer. Great team in total, must say!"

 

The episode opens with Alisha being invited to a sangeet ceremony hosted by a crazy Punjabi family for their daughter Avantika's (played by Riya) wedding. But the fun evening is cut short when the bride Avantika, is found unconscious. The bride wakes up with no memory of what happened and Alisha takes it upon herself to investigate what exactly happened. Suddenly the auspicious occasion becomes a scene of crime, when Alisha finds a glass of drugged champagne next to Avantika.
