Riya Bhattacharjee on her role in Dangal show Nath: It's very difficult to get into the character

Riya Bhattacharjee has recently started her television career. She always wants to portray a character that is different from the former. Currently, she is portraying the character of Kajri in the television show Nath on Dangal. 

Talking about her character, in particular, Riya said, "Kajri is a very strong character, something which I had never done before. It has a different dialect, costume, style, everything is unique about her. When I had auditioned for the role, I had no idea I would get selected, it was a tough role. In my opinion, it is a role which will steal the attention of the audience."

Further, she says, "The most difficult part while doing this role is, it's very difficult to get into the character, as in television we have limited time for the preparation for a scene.  As this character itself has a different backstory rather than a normal character, then her different accent. All together yes every time I used to go to the floor I was always nervous. Initially, I thought I could not but then I pulled it off. Before every scene, I actually took a little bit of my time to get into it And then my co-actor Anurag Sharma is such a brilliant actor, that he helped me to establish the character."

Lastly, Riya says, "The show is already on air and I am receiving amazing feedback for the character. People from the fraternity, my friends, and family too are loving it and appreciating my role in the show. So yes, I am happy about the same and hope to do more varied kinds of roles like this in future.''
