Riteish to go for drama and crime thriller

Actor Riteish Deshmukh, best known for his rib tickling comedy, is all set to continue his journey on the big screen in a genre he has rarely ventured in - an urban crime thriller drama.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh, best known for his rib tickling comedy, is all set to continue his journey on the big screen in a genre he has rarely ventured in - an urban crime thriller drama.

Receiving utmost appreciation from past movies such as Kya Kool Hain Hum, Heyy Babyy, Dhamaal, Malamaal Weekly, the Housefull series and many more, the talented actor has many other comedy films lined up for him as well, a few of which are sequels such as the upcoming Kya Super Kool Hain Hum. But for now, the actor is keen to wander off in a fresh direction.

After Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya with wife, Genelia D'Souza, Deshmukh has stated that upon his own opinions, he feels that the perspective of the audience has changed. Thus, this has prompted the actor to bring about a change in the usual characters he takes up. Previously, Deshmukh has portrayed characters other than that of comedy, most noticeably in Rann, but due to their failure at the box office, Deshmukh recently signed up for two new films that fall under the crime thriller and drama genre.

Whatever the genre may be, BollyCurry wishes him the best for his upcoming projects and hope he is satisfied with the new characters he aspires to play.
