Rishton Se Badi Pratha gets its main cast

After an extensive search the channel and production house have now zeroed in on the lead cast of the show.

We hear that Shalini Chandran, who earlier played one of the leads in Zee TV's Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah, makes a comeback to TV with Pratha. Playing her love interest will be Gaurav Chaudhary of Do Saheliyan fame.

A little birdie tells us, "Nimay Bali plays father to the male lead. Zed Khan who was last seen in Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki Ganga will play the elder brother of the male lead. He will have an aggressive personality and will be at loggerhead with the female lead's brother, played by Faisal Raza Khan. Seema Pandey plays the mother of the female lead."

We hear that the channel plans to shoot the promo tomorrow, and will go on floor on Oct. 3.

When contacted, Shalini Chandran refused to comment.

Gaurav Chaudhary told us, "I have just given an audition and I am waiting for the result."
 
Zeb Khan confirmed that he is part of the show, but refused to divulge detail.

Our repeated attempts to get in touch with Producer Pearl Grey were futile, as she did not respond.

The show is expected to launch in the last week of October.
