Jasprit Bumrah will be the skipper of the same. Gautam Gambhir was asked about Sharma’s place in the playing XI but he evaded the questions. This has angered fans of Rohit Sharma to no end.

As per a report in PTI, there is an utter lack of communication breakdown between the captain and coach. Rohit Sharma did not play the Perth Test as his wife Ritika Sajdeh had just delivered a baby boy. India won the Test but lost the games at Adelaide and Melbourne. It seems they did not exchange a word at the net practice. Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah were in the Indian dressing room. Fans of Sharma are livid because this is the first time a captain has been dropped in the middle of a Test series. Apparent eyewitnesses at SCG’s practice saw that other players came out in the nets to discuss but he was not there.
