Dasvidaniya is a story of shy and quiet Amar Kaul who is repressing all those people who have always wanted to do things but kept them on hold. One of the many unknown faces on the streets; he is leading a contented life. And then one day a doctor told him that he will die within 3 months. Amar realizes that there are so many things that he wanted to do, but could never achieve, owing to one reason or the other. So, he makes a list of 'Things To Do Before He Dies'. His 'to do things' list is symbolical of our wishes that could never culminate into reality.
Savoring to the changing phase of Bollywood, Vinay Pathak brims up with a fantabulous script that'll let ourselves reflect on every frame. Spelling best out of him, actor Vinay Pathak not just dons the lead role, but you have him standing on the shoes of a producer for first time.
On the whole, Dasvidaniya works well in the first half but second half is a bit slow. Coincidentally, the movie bears an uncanny resemblance to "The Bucket List".
Bollycurry Rating: 2.5 chillies out of 5. “Dasvidaniya” may succeed in entertaining people.
