Renuka Shahane and Rajeshwari Sachdev talk about working in 'Stories On The Next Page'

Stories On The Next Page - a micro-anthology film with 3 original short stories about ‘Closure’ is gearing up for a release. It has a stellar cast of Abhishek Bannerjee, Ditipriya Roy, Namit Das, Bhupendra Jadawat, Veebha Anand, Renuka Shahane, Rajeshwari Sachdev and Syed Raza.

And well, Rajeshwari and Renuka, who have been great friends for the longest time now, finally got a chance to work together. The two got talking about working on the film and also, a chance to work with each other.

Renuka Sahane tells us,

''I got to work with my dearest friend Rajeshwari Sachdev finally in Sunshower in Stories On The Next Page. We've been such close friends for so long and never got the opportunity to work together. I love her as a person and actor and working with her was absolutely magical. You can see how happy I was on the set. Thank you so much Brinda Mitra for getting us both together for the first time ever, for this beautiful story.''

Rajeshwari Sachdev also spoke about the shoot, and said,

''Renuka and I have been friends for so long and it’s been a friendship that’s only grown thicker over the years. When in doubt , She is my go to person. Be it any work, situation, son, his books, what to or not post, etc etc she has been a friend indeed. We have been a part of projects but never really shot together. So it was wonderful to work and share the co actors vibe with her on this one. Thank you Brinda Mitra you bright spark, for bringing us together on this one! Can’t wait to share this beautiful film made with a passionate and talented bunch of people with all of you.''

The film is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on the 6th of May 2022.
