Aanand L Rai's Tumbbad starring Sohum Shah is currently immense love and appreciation from audience and critics alike.

Ahead of the film's release, the makers of Tumbbad hosted a special screening for Marathi industry in Mumbai.

Present at the screening were Sachin Pilgaokar, Swapnil Joshi, Amruta Khanvilkar, Jitendra Joshi, Ameya Wagh, Vijay Pathak, Urmila Kothare, Sonali Kulkarni, Phulwa Deshpande to name a few.

Everyone present at the screening were completely blown away after watching the film.

Urmila Kothare shared, "Saw #Tumbbad yesterday... cudnt sleep the whole night.kept telling myself ' ,still couldn't sleep @BarveRahi -U have arrived. Dis film is so true to it's (Horror) genre. May da film does super at d box office..it deserves all da Success n Accolades"

Ace choreographer, Phulwa shared, "#tumbbad what was that? Wen i came out of theatre i was awestruck & speechless.was tryng to exactly analyse what i went thru..n realised tht i experienced something beyond my imagination of 'some' horror film!hatsss offf @BarveRahi @s0humshah @aanandlrai dont miss it guysss!".

Actor Adinath Kothare shared, "#Tumbaad is a spine tingling cinematic experience that keeps you on the edge of the seat made by this genius @BarveRahi ! Loved the film ! Did not miss it this weekend !".

Tumbbad which offers fantasy, action, frights, and scares has captivated lot of Bollywood celebs including, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, director Rajkumar Hirani, Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff to name a few.

The trailer of the film has left the audience gripped as Tumbbad presents an interesting mixture of mythology, fantasy and thriller leaving everyone with a spine-chilling experience.

The much ambitious project has been roller coaster ride for Sohum Shah while Aanand L Rai defines the film as a genre-defining film.

Tumbbad is an Eros International and Aanand L Rai's presentation and a Sohum Shah Films in association with Colour a Yellow Productions. Co-produced by Filmi Vst and Filmgate Films. Tumbbad is set to release on 12th October 2018.
