The bright 'Heer' of television in a joyous conversation, shares her sweet memories and outlook in a relaxed holiday mood.
Presently what are your free time desires?
Recently after my eviction from Zara Nachke Dikha I had taken a week off and was enjoying my holidays wholeheartedly and thinking of extending it for some more time. Apart from that my newly found desire is reading books which I love it these days.
So what's your outlook to make a comeback on television?
No idea, But I'll make a comeback that's what I'm sure about (smiles). And I would wish to re-appear on television with a character which is different from my previous role of 'Heer'.
So does reality show fit in your upcoming plan?
I think reality is not meant for me. Though it was a nice learning experience I realized that I have a flexible body and I made many new friends.
But apart from all these positives I don't think I can fit into a reality show because I can't portray to be what I'm not just for gaining audience attention and secondly my dignity is very important for me and I can't mess with it.

So would you regard your early elimination from Zara Nachke Dikha as a shocking wave or a smooth sail?
It was not at all a shocking wave because somewhere I was quite sure about my early eliminations because when I was tagged the first thing that struck me was why would they keep me on the show? as I can't do all the fake things for the sake of TRP ratings. So it was a smooth sail.
How interesting or dull has your dancing background been?
Very dull (smiles) I had a very bad stage fear and never thought I could perform on stage. One such recent instance that happened was during the Star Parivar awards.
It just so happened that I and Harshad had to do a performance which went on quite well and then I had to share the stage with Shweta Tiwari who herself is a fabulous dancer and as soon as the track started I got completely blank and goofed up the entire dance it was a disaster (smiles). That was the time when I decided never to step on stage again.
So I would say that Zara Nachke Dikha has filled within me a lot of courage and I'm happy for that.
How much do you follow the show Zara Nachke Dikha now?
Very much in fact now I see and comment as a true audience. After each episode I keep calling them, text them and recently I had even bumped into their rehearsal session it was awesome fun.
After having such a famous role of 'Heer' in bank have you narrowed down on your future roles?
I have learnt a lot from my previous project and even explored a lot within myself. So I wish if I get a chance to portray a negative character. I just love the facial expressions of Indian television vamps. I seriously aspire to try it once.
At least on public demand were you even approached for another show with Harshad Chopra to be specific 'Tere Liye'?
Once one of my friends had approached me for a project but then things didn't work out. And I wasn't approached for Tere Liye at all.
And now I feel people should accept the new change and new chemistry. If they look at it with a positive approach they would surely like it.
Any male/female actor with whom you would like to share some screen space in future?
Mishal Raheja I really aspire to work with him because I sense some kind of magic in his acting there is something in his acting that just keeps you glued. I really want to know how he works, what does he do to give his best shot.
So does your passion list comprise of?
My passions keep on changing looking at people (smiles). If I see someone playing a sport I also feel like doing that. My recent passion has been sketching as I had been a bit into fashion designing I keep on scribbling whatever comes to my mind. And the most recent obsession has been reading spiritual books.
And after midnight schedules of ZND I can't sleep at night and that's irritating me more so, I keep on reading more. I think I'll have to start taking some sleeping pills soon (laughs).
So could we expect something different from you after the break?
I sense there is nothing as a break in an actor's life it's just that we wait for good opportunities and as soon as we get it we grab it. And looking at present television scenario and my past work I think I have done complete justice to my character but in future I would opt for a serial that has a strong concept, would like to test my talent then.
Message for the fans
I love you all so much.
