Raveena Tandon to be honoured with the Padma Shri at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has worked in the Hindi film industry for over three decades. She has appeared in over 100 films, including commercial successes such as Mohra, Dilwale, and Andaz Apna Apna, and critically acclaimed films such as Satta and Daman.
Well, the actress is on cloud nine as she is all set to receive the Padma Shri award. Raveena Tandon took to her social media account to express her gratitude for the honour and share the invitation she received.
The award is a recognition of her contribution to Indian cinema and her philanthropic work. Tandon has been actively involved in social causes such as children's rights, women's empowerment, and education. She is also the founder of the Raveena Tandon Foundation, which works towards providing education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
Today, April 5, 2023, Raveena Tandon will be awarded the Padma Shri, one of the highest civilian honours in India, by the President of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. For the unversed, the Padma Shri is awarded for distinguished service in various fields such as art, literature, education, social work, public affairs, and science and engineering.
The Padma Shri award is a significant honour for Raveena Tandon, and it reflects her achievements in her career and her contributions to society.

On the work front, Raveena Tandon made her OTT debut in 2021 with the web series, ‘Aranyak.’ She also appeared in ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, where she played a pivotal role in the story. Looking forward, the actress will be seen in the romantic comedy film, ‘Ghudchadi’ by Binoy Gandhi along with Sanjay Dutt.
