Raveena Tandon comes in support of Aryan Khan, calls it a ‘shameful politics’

After Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan, actor Raveena Tandon has publicly condemned Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan's, arrest and subsequent detention. 

Aryan was detained for questioning after a drug raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship last weekend, and he has since been arrested for alleged drug-related connections. 

Raveena wrote in a tweet on Friday, without naming anyone, "Shameful politics being played out.. it’s a young man's life and future they toying with … heartbreaking”.

The decision on Aryan's bail petition will be made today. His lawyer applied for bail on Thursday, claiming that no drugs were found on him and that he only knew one other person at the planned cruise party. 

Salman Khan paid a visit to Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat on the same day Aryan was arrested. It's unclear what discussions took place, but the actor was spotted arriving at Shah Rukh and Gauri's seafront bungalow just a few hours before his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri. 

Gauri's friends Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Khan also visited her over the next few days. 

On Thursday, actor Hrithik Roshan came in support of Aryan Khan and posted an open letter to Aryan in which he urged him to remain strong and suggested that the difficulties he is currently facing will shape the person he becomes in the future. He wrote, “I know you must feel it now. The anger, the confusion, the helplessness. Aaah, the very ingredients that are needed to burn the hero out from inside you. But be wary, those same ingredients could burn away the good stuff... the kindness, the compassion, the love. Allow yourself to burn, but just enough.”
