On October 9, Ratan Tata took his last breath at the age of 86. The loss of the respected industrialist, philanthropist, and one of the most beloved and admired businessmen in the country has profoundly impacted many throughout India, including renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The director of hit films like 'Baahubali' and 'RRR' took to social media to convey his condolences and highlight Tata’s influence on society.

SS Rajamouli reflected on Tata's contributions, stating that legends like him are born and endure forever. He wrote, "Legends are born, and they live forever. It’s difficult to envision a day without using a TATA product… Ratan Tata’s legacy is interwoven into daily life. If anyone will withstand the test of time alongside the Panchabhootas, it’s him. Professionally, SS Rajamouli is currently working on his upcoming film, tentatively titled 'SSMB29', featuring superstar Mahesh Babu. Recently, Vijayendra Prasad, Rajamouli's father and one of the film's writers, revealed that the shooting is set to commence in January 2025, with the film anticipated to be released in 2028.
