Rashmika Mandanna recalls laddoos and Tamil lessons from Dhanush while celebrating Kuberaa’s success

Actor Rashmika Mandanna shared a heartfelt appreciation post for Dhanush after the success of their latest film Kuberaa, currently performing well at the box office. The emotional note, posted on her Instagram, reflects on their bond and her admiration for Dhanush’s talent and humility.

Calling Kuberaa’s journey “nothing short of incredible,” Rashmika opened up about working with Dhanush. Despite completing an entire film together, she revealed they had only one selfie. Alongside the picture, she wrote, “This is a random appreciation post for you,” referring to Dhanush as a “gem of a person” and lauding his consistent hard work.

The actress, who is also basking in the success of Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal, highlighted Dhanush’s dedication to craft. “You’ve been working so hard every day. We’re always in different cities, discussing rest but never finding time for it,” she wrote. She credited his commitment to bringing powerful performances, not just in Kuberaa, but throughout his career.

Rashmika also shared some personal anecdotes that showcased Dhanush’s kindness and support on set. She fondly remembered how he used to offer her laddoos during the shoot and patiently helped her with Tamil lines. “You’ve been incredibly kind, not just to me but to everyone you interact with,” she added. She recalled how even his small compliments like “that was nice” after a scene meant a lot to her.

“These might seem like small things, but they really stay with you,” Rashmika concluded, wishing Dhanush all the best and celebrating their collaboration with a cheerful, “Yaaay! We did it!”

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa also stars veteran actor Nagarjuna in a pivotal role. The story follows a beggar’s transformation and navigates through themes of ambition, greed, and moral reckoning. The film has struck a chord with audiences and continues its theatrical run.
