Rashami Desai on Vikas Gupta helping her land Naagin 4: It was the decision of channel and production

Vikas Gupta, who is currently seen in Bigg Boss 14, sure seems to have been in the news both inside as well as outside the house. And the latest rumours have it that the producer had a hand in getting Rashami Desai a role in Naagin 4.

However, it looks like that is not true after all, and Desai herself cleared the air around the same. She went on to reveal in an interview with Times Of India how Gupta had nothing to do with her role of Shalakha. She also added that the decision was that of the channel and the production house. While she added that Vikas is a friend and she is fond of him, there is no other reason and she does not know where do such rumours come from.

Earlier, reports in Bollywood Hungama stated that Vikas might have had a call in removing Jasmin Bhasin and replacing her with Rashami. It was following that that she grew fonder of Vikas and in fact, the source quote also mentioned how they buried the hatchet thereafter and hence, she has also been supporting Vikas this season.

Meanwhile, Vikas' equation with Jasmin has not been all that great either and she also went on to reveal how his dispute lead him to get kicked out of the show Khatra Khatra Khatra.
