The Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B was indicted on Friday on felony charges connected to a fight at a Queens strip club last year. The rapper from the Bronx has vaulted up charts as the doyenne of money moves.

According to the reports from The New York Times, the Queens district attorney’s office would not comment on the charges against Cardi B. Court records showed that the rapper faced several charges in the case, including two counts of felony attempted assault and lesser counts including harassment, criminal solicitation, and conspiracy.

The reports also suggest that she is to appear at an arraignment on Tuesday afternoon in Queens. The performer previously has denied harming anyone. A message seeking comment was left with her lawyer Friday.

For the unversed, Cardi B had a long-simmering feud in Flushing last August with two sisters who are bartenders at the club. She attacked the Angels Strip Club and has been reportedly accused one of the women of having an affair with her husband, Offset, a member of the rap trio Migos.

The police also mentioned that a fight broke out and that Cardi B and others with her threw bottles, chairs and hookah pipes in the clash. Furthermore, back in October, she was initially charged with misdemeanor assault and two counts of reckless endangerment. The police said she had no previous arrests in New York.

The 26-year-old singer’s real name is Belcalis Almanzar and is well-known for featuring in the song Girls like you by Maroon 5 and many more songs.
