Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, numerous Bollywood celebrities have expressed their support for the Indian armed forces. Actors like Anupam Kher and Deepika Padukone have praised Operation Sindoor. Following reports of potential attacks by Pakistan in Jammu, Punjab, and Rajasthan, some celebrities have offered their prayers and support to the troops protecting the nation's borders.

Actor Abhay Verma also took to his Instagram to show his support for the Indian armed forces and praise his brother.

My Salute to everyone in the forces including my own brother @_rahulsingh12 who serves our nation in this tough time! It's not about the fight, it's about what's right! Jai Hind

His heartfelt post, written in Hindi and paired with a powerful message, highlighted the selfless sacrifices made by Indian soldiers every single day. The post read: “Raat so paaya kyuki jawaan uthey they, Subah uth paaya kyuki jawaan khade they, Naashta ho paaya kyuki jawaan bhookhe they!"

Abhay Verma is managing a busy schedule, involved in multiple projects simultaneously. He is reportedly working with Shanaya Kapoor on his next film, directed by Shujaat Saudagar, though no official announcement has been made. According to a report by Filmfare earlier this year, a source mentioned, “Abhay and Shanaya are currently participating in pre-shoot workshops to prepare for Shujaat’s film. Their shooting schedule will begin in the first week of March. The film is going to be shot in Goa. Audiences can expect a romantic movie unlike anything seen before."

Abhay Verma gained recognition for his performance in Munjya, released in 2024, which also stars Sharvari and Mona Singh.

Several other Bollywood celebrities have also shared their opinions on the escalating tensions. Anupam Kher posted a video, quoting his cousin brother Sunil Kher, who said, “My cousin brother #SunilKher sent this video from his home in Jammu. I called immediately and asked him if he and his family are ok. He laughed a little proudly and said, ‘Jai Mata Di! Bharat Mata Ki Jai! Brother! We are in India! We are Indians. Our safety is in the hands of the Indian Army and Mata Vaishno Devi. Don’t worry. Anyway, no missile is being allowed to hit the ground here. Jai Mata Di! Bharat Mata Ki Jai!’"
