Ranveer Singh poses with 'his trophy' Deepika Padukone at the FIFA World Cup final - Pic

One of Bollywood's finest actors, Ranveer Singh is quite passionate about sports. The actor has done it all, from showing his support for cricket and basketball players throughout the world to now taking in a live football game in Qatar. In the most recent development, Ranveer and his wife Deepika Padukone were sighted by his supporters in the Lusail Stadium, the venue of one of the greatest FIFA World Cup finals in history.

Now Ranveer Singh has flooded his Instagram stories with glimpses of the match and how he witnessed it with his lady love Deepika Padukone who also unveiled the FIFA World Cup trophy in the closing ceremony before the match. It was a proud moment for all the Indians as she represented the country while doing so. 

In one of the pictures he shared, Ranveer could be seen posing with Deepika, who were all smiles as they posed for the lens. Along with the picture, he showered love for his wifey and wrote, "Asli trophy toh mere paas hai". He also wrote, "so glad and grateful that we witnessed it together." In the next story he shared the penalty shoot out moment when Lionel Messi strike a goal.

He then shared other clips as he could be seen celebrating Argentina's win while hugging DP from behind and enjoying the glorious moment. He also dropped the trophy ceremony video with the caption, "World Champions".

Taking to Twitter, Ranveer Singh congratulated Argentina for their glorious and historic win and heaped praises for the ace Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi. His tweet read, “It had to be Him. #Messi.” With his message, he attached a ‘GOAT’ emoticon which means ‘Greatest Of All Times.” 

Apart from them, B-Town celebs like Kartik Aaryan, Nora Fatehi and others also attended the historic match in Qatar.
