RanKat's New Rishta!

Nope! We're not bringing you another evidence of smoke that has been rising from the fire of forbidden love between the two amicable co-stars.


Its quite another take, which surfaces from Ranbir's current moniker for the lovely Katrina. Apparently, in continuance of having played brother-in-law to Arjun Rampal's widow Kat, in Prakash Jha's much awaited Rajneeti, Ranbir has taken to calling Katrina bhabhi all over the sets! Some choice name that, considering the alleged love waves between the two that have been doing rounds in gossip circles ever since the two worked together for APKGK.


Rajneeti, due for release early this June, will see the two portray not the usual love-pecked adolescents but plotting political minds, additionally brother and sister-in-law as per their respective relations with Arjun Rampal in the movie.


All set to be seen onscreen in his first politically evolved gray character, Ranbir has indeed overstepped his comfort zone in terms of acting skills. But even more so holds true for Katrina - de-glam, desi-talking - like never before! Donning sarees, disdainfully plain by her usual fashion sense, and transforming from a real life Brit accented lass to a fluent Hindi speaking lady neta is no usual feat.


Opining as much, Katrina claimed that for either of them (Ranbir and herself) this was as unconventional as it gets! If the two of them were to be seen on screen together again, she was heard to add, it would have to be a return to the norms - the modern age lovelorn boy and girl with a new love story spun around them!


At the moment, however, it is that Rajneeti we await, which will brew between bhabhi Kat and devar Ranbir!
