Ranbir-Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Fallout the Reason Behind Ignoring Alia Bhatt?

Recently, there were reports of love birds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor ignoring each other, despite working at the same venue- Film City, Mumbai. While nothing is wrong between the couple, they have only decided to keep it strictly professional, and thus have been avoiding meeting each other on set.

However, a recent report spills the real reason behind Ranbir staying away from Alia. RK does not visit his lady love Alia on set because of his fallout with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is helming the actress’ next titled Gangubai Khathiawadi.

Ranbir wants to avoid coming face to face with Alia Bhatt’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali at any cost. SLB and Ranbir had a massive fall-out when Ranbir made his debut in Bhansali’s Saawariya. Things got so bad between them that Ranbir vowed to never work with Bhansali again. And he kept his word.

After Saawariya, Ranbir was offered some paramount roles by SLB, right from Guzaarish to Ram Leela to Bajirao Mastani, but the actor turned down all of them. Reportedly Kapoor was also offered a part in the new SLB film Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt, however, he again declined the offer.

It looks like Ranbir is adamant on not working with SLB ever again as the source further added, 

No matter what, Ranbir Kapoor won’t work with Bhansali even if he is offered the best role in the world. He wants to stay away from Bhansali. This is the real reason he avoids going to Alia on the sets of Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Speaking of Saawariya, the 2007 romantic drama marked Ranbir Kapoor’s entry into the movies. While the film was a dud at the box office, Ranbir received critical acclaim for his debut performance.
