Ranbir's Rockstar Tresses!

What do Mick Jagger, Ozzy Osbourne, Arjun Rampal (once upon a time) and Ranbir Kapoor have in common?

They're all rock stars with long hair!

Yep, you heard it right. Ranbir Kapoor is all set to star in Imitiaz Ali's next, Rockstar. For title namesake Ranbir's character does in fact don the garb of a rock star, playing the lead singer in a rock band! (Yes, we can see all those fluttering hearts - haven't so many of us dreamed of this very avatar for chocolate boy Ranbir?!) 

It seems that Imtiaz and Ranbir had a tedious and elaborate discussion over Ranbir's look in the film. The actor was in favor of going for a cropped look, but Imtiaz felt longer, shoulder-length hair would suit the role better. And director's word it was, the final one, hence all this buzz about Ranbir's lovely locks!
