Ranbir Kapoor talks about the failure of Shamshera: Reports

The release of actor Ranbir Kapoor's movie "Brahmastra" is nearing. In the Ayan Mukerji film, he will appear onscreen alongside his wife Alia Bhatt. The trio is doing everything possible to promote their movie. Ranbir and Alia were spotted in Delhi on Wednesday promoting "Brahmastra."

Well it was here that for the first time, Ranbir discussed "Shamshera's" failure during the press conference.

Shamshera, starring Ranbir, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor, was not well received by moviegoers. The film's lacklustre plot prevented it from captivating the audience, despite having a large canvas and a strong cast.

During the media interaction, Ranbir was asked about the film's failure, the Rockstar actor said, "If Shamshera didn't run at the box office it means the audience didn't like the film. The film didn't work because the content wasn't good."

Not only Ranbir, Sanjay Dutt previously broke his silence after the movie's box office failure. He also discussed how people who hadn't even seen the movie had criticised it.

Meanwhile, Ranbir's 'Brahmastra' is also facing a backlash from netizens. Recently, Alia and Ranbir jetted off to Ujjain to visit Mahakaleshwar Temple ahead of the release. But they couldn't attend the evening aarti due to a protest.
