The first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Yash as Ravana in the upcoming film 'Ramayana' has been unveiled, with Namit Malhotra sharing the teaser, which is already receiving love from fans. The visual effects have generated considerable excitement, as the filmmakers aim to present the epic narrative with utmost reverence. Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of Lord Ram exudes serenity, while Yash's depiction of Ravana captivates with intensity. Adding to the buzz, Ranbir's wife, Alia Bhatt, has also cheered for her husband.

Ramayana is planned as a two-part film, with the first part scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release and the second part for Diwali 2027. The initial instalment is expected to conclude with the Sita Haran episode, although this has not been officially confirmed.
