Ranbir Kapoor extends support to 'Adipurush'; donates 10,000 tickets to underprivileged children

Producer Abhishek Agarwal made a heartwarming announcement on his social media platform, stating his intention to donate 10,000 tickets of the highly anticipated film Adipurush to underprivileged children and elderly residents of old age homes in Telangana. Adipurush, directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar, features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles. With a worldwide theatrical release scheduled for June 16, 2023, the film has already generated immense anticipation. Joining Abhishek Agarwal in this noble cause is none other than Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, known for his generosity and secure position in the industry.

Ranbir Kapoor, inspired by the epic tale of Ramayana, has decided to donate 10,000 tickets of Adipurush to underprivileged children across India. Having personally gained valuable insights from the story of Lord Ram during his childhood, Ranbir hopes that today's younger generation can also learn from the teachings embedded in Shri Ram's narrative. These donated tickets will be distributed to various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the Hindi-speaking regions of the country. The producers of Adipurush, expressed their gratitude for Ranbir's support and appreciated his gesture in bolstering the film's cause.

Adipurush, with its staggering budget of Rs 500 crore, stands as one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The movie will be released in both 2D and 3D formats, aiming to captivate audiences globally.  Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.

Adding to the intrigue, Ranbir Kapoor himself is gearing up to portray the iconic character of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming rendition of Ramayana, with his real-life partner Alia Bhatt portraying the role of Sita.
