RC16, the highly anticipated sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is set to captivate audiences with its rural backdrop. Ram Charan takes center stage in this exciting project, with Janhvi Kapoor joining him as the female lead. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, featuring renowned actors like Shiva Rajkumar and Divyenndu, known for his role in "Mirzapur." Adding to the intrigue, Ram Charan will be seen in a fresh, distinctive look, while the musical score is being crafted by the legendary AR Rahman.

Janhvi Kapoor's role in RC16 marks her second Telugu film, following her successful debut in "Devara: Part 1." This 2024 action drama, directed by Koratala Siva, is the first part of a planned two-part series. The film tells the gripping story of Devara, a village chieftain, locked in a fierce rivalry with Bhaira over the illegal arms trade. Alongside Jr NTR and Janhvi, the star-studded cast includes Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and more.

Looking ahead, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in the upcoming film "Param Sundari" alongside Siddharth Malhotra. She is also working on "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari." Meanwhile, Ram Charan's recent release was "Game Changer," a political drama directed by Shankar, which hit theaters on January 10, 2025. In addition to RC16, he is also collaborating with director Sukumar on an action film tentatively titled RC17.
